Namhea seafood restaurant in Mijo Geongsang Do.

Being in Namhea just makes you crave for seafood, and I am sure there are many seafood restaurants around but in search of the best place to eat, we found ourselves circling around the beautiful Mijo, Mizo or Miseo. I'm not sure about the right English translation.

Located in the southernmost tip of the South Sea, which is the main island of Namhae. One among the two inhabited islands and 16 uninhabited islands, including beautiful coastline.

Not knowing where to go we just turned off the navigation and drove around the beautiful coastline of Moji.

We spotted this road going down the seashore so we followed.

Twas a spectacular view but we found no restaurant around.bu However, we couldn't help but to get off the car and enjoy the scenery. We had a nice walk along the shore. We were hoping that someone would appear so we could ask around but no one there.

We found a minbak sign meaning, transient in English.. It was some kind of a village where people can rent a room in the villagers houses. This is actually very common and a very nice way of experiencing the local life, of every parts of Korea. It would be cheaper than hotel as well. We haven't experienced it yet and we were considering about trying if we were not able to find a place to stay but we did.

We drove up and saw this interesting restaurant along the road, but for some reason no one was around too. Perhaps it was their day off. Or maybe it need a reservation but thanks for the nice scenery.

We continued driving and saw a road going down and followed but another beautiful scenery of pebble beach discovery.. We stopped and enjoyed the scenery and headed back on the road.

We even had a quick stop at the Marine diving school when we saw  a dock. But no restaurant around at all. Such a nice place. You watch the video if you wanna see the whole place, because I was not able to take picture and took video instead of this place.

And just when we thought we gave up searching for seafood restaurant, we will just get inside the first restaurant we find.

Whalllaaa! the Seafood world welcomed us! I was busy taking video here so I was not able to take photo of the wonderful seafood world but you can see it on the video as well.

Yum! yum! We're finally recharging, with fresh fish from the tank.

The remaining from the sashimi was turned into meawontang. (a delicious spicy fish soup) We paid about over 20,000 won (less than 20 US dollar) per head and we had a lot of left overs that we dogie bagged for our dinner.

As shown on the wall the place where we ate is quiet popular and was visited by many celebrities vacationing in the Island.

Our journey of trying to quenched our cravings must have been like a wonderful finding Nemo. 😉😱😛 Twas indeed a fun part of our adventure. We had no idea where to find one but, finding it was so much fun. A real fresh seafood and Sashimi at 경상남도 남해군 미조면. Twas a satisfying seafood lunch and  Mijo coastal exploration and we headed to our next destination.
